inspiring celebrations {It’s a Wrap party with Tiny Prints}

December 5, 2013

It’s here. I am so excited to share the details of the wrapping party I had a couple of weeks ago, with the help of Tiny Prints.

Being a crafter and decorator, I just love dressing up presents. I will be that person up late on Christmas Eve, not just wrapping, but embellishing the presents so that they are oh-so-pretty. I know, I am crazy. I decided to share the love and have a wrapping party with some friends. Each girl brought over some presents and a roll of wrapping paper and I supplied the rest.

I used some items from the Simply Present set at Tiny Prints, including the invites and gift tags.  I also used the matching, custom-printed address labels in a non-traditional way, crafting them into drink flags.  Who knew?

There was a simple menu of wraps and the best donut holes ever from Paula’s Donuts, a signature cocktail, and lots of ribbon. Take a peek…

Once everyone was done munching, the table was set for some wrapping.  There was twine and tags, ribbon and bows, clips and tape…all kinds of fun things to make the presents look fabulous!  And let’s not forget the ‘sample’ gift wrap ideas for inspiration.

It was like Santa’s workshop for a little bit…

Everyone got a little parting gift as well…a little box of wrapping embellishments for wrapping at home.

It was such a fun little event, and it got in gear to wrap my own presents a little early too.  I am thinking I will definitely do this party again!

Don’t forget to stop by the Tiny Prints Blog today as well, where you can check out my tutorial for the Holiday Cheer Drink Flag and the signature cocktail that was served up.  See you there!
