christmas card display

December 15, 2013

For years, when the Christmas cards came streaming in, I never really had anywhere to put them.  One year they were displayed on ribbon below a window sill, but that was only one year.  The rest of the time they ended up on display on the counter, or in a pile somewhere.  That all changed this year!

I thought the front hall would be a perfect spot and I had just the right item to display them.  With my big empty frame, some bakers twine, and a staple gun, the project was complete.  I can see them often (my friends/family have such cute stinkin’ kids!), they add to the overall Christmassy feel, but they aren’t cluttering any of my beloved counter space.

I was really excited to find the pillow at Target when I was strolling through last week.  I really wanted a pillow to toss on that bench and had all kinds of intentions of sewing one, but Target came through in the clutch!  Score!

I have seen some fabulous card displays on the blogosphere.  How do you like to show off your holiday cards?Signature
