monogram christmas wreath

December 20, 2013

So, I was looking for a little something different to hang on the door this Christmas.  Honestly, I have been hanging the same faux-pine wreath on my door for the Holidays for years.  This year, with the outdoor decor theme being blue and silver, the same old red and green wasn’t going to cut it.  Change is good.  Especially in the form of a fabulous monogram DIY!

This monogram wreath worked out perfectly.  I was able to use some of the same ornaments that were hung on the trees in our front yard, so it matches all nice-nice.

I cut a large “K” out of some foam board and wrapped it all up with garland.  Lots of garland.

Finally I added some shine to it with the blue and silver ornaments, and a couple of snowflakes.

I am quite pleased!  What’s hanging on your door this holiday?

Gorgeous as always, Anne. I didn’t make a single wreath this year, but I’d want to make something unique like this! First time I’m seeing a monogram wreath this season and I love it!

Really cute! You could almost keep the monogram and change up the ornament part for spring.
