easter Jelly Bean gift {printable}

March 28, 2014

Ok.  I will admit.  I am kind of a dork when it comes to goofy, cheesy little plays on words.  I just have that sort of sense of humor (just ask Mr. CB about my favorite joke…I laugh every time even though it is quite possibly the worst joke ever).

I am continuing on my merry-cheesiness path with this cute Easter printable.  I think it is just adorable and would be a great gift for a teacher or a friend who always seems to be there to lend a hand.  And let’s face it, who doesn’t love jelly beans?  I mean, if know someone who doesn’t, you can always get the chocolate bean version and they can be equally as satisfied!

You can download the printable right here!  And to make your life easier, you’ll need a 2″ circle punch.

Jelly Bean Tag

I chose to wrap mine around a cute jar (hel-LO Target Dollar Spot) but you could just as easily tie it around a mini bag, box, cup, jar, cone…you get the idea!

Now…I am going to try not to eat all of these jelly beans before I give it away.

14 non-food, valentine’s day printables {for kids}

February 10, 2014

Do you just love Valentine’s Day printables? I do. I love seeing all of the ideas and catchy phrases that go into Valentines. I could probably give my kids one a day for the month of February and still not touch on all of the clever “plays-on-words” out there.

Today I am sharing some of my favorite Valentine’s day printables, catchy phrases and all, 100% treats, and no sweets.  (Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE sweets here, and we consume plenty.  Hence the break.)

The kids will be sure to love these:

February 6, 2014

More Valentine’s Day fun on this fine Thursday!  Today I am sharing an everyone-friendly Valentine’s Day printable with you.  With food allergies for some and all of the sweets we get anyway on that day, I thought I would try something non-food for a kid’s Valentine.  I am a big fan of this one in particular because it is great for a boy or a girl!

I printed these out on photo paper for that extra finished look.  Each card is topped with some star glasses that I picked up from Party City.  Once tapped on with scotch tape and signed, these fabulous cards are all set to be given away.

Here is the 4×6 version that you can print on photo paper, like I did
Here is the 81/2 x 11 version with two per page for you to print on your heavy card stock and cut.

I might stop by the Valentine’s Day party at day care just to see if I can get a picture of the class in these fun glasses.  So fun!  Enjoy!

spider potion labels {guest post from The Newlywed Pilgrimage}

October 6, 2013

Guest Blogger

Welcome Jennifer Pilgrim from The Newlywed Pilgrimage! Mrs. Pilgrim’s blog features crafts, cooking, and conversation. Today, she is sharing a free printable to create your own spooktacular spider potion labels.

Spooky Spider Potion Labels- Free Printable

Halloween Potion Bottle Label - Spooky SpiderHalloween is one of my favorite holidays and this year I’m throwing a spooky spider bash. I designed these “Spiders Kiss” potion labels for some vintage medicine bottles that I have. However, you can adhere them to painted mason jars, empty opaque cosmetic bottles, or whatever you have on hand.

Spooky Spider Bottle Label Supplies - The Newlywed PilgrimageClick here to print the Spooky Spider Potion Labels. They are pre-formatted to print on Avery labels (template 5163) but you can click here to save the label if you’d like to formate it into a different size.

Spooky Spider Bottle Label - The Newlywed PilgrimageThe warning label is particularly spooky! It reads “WARNING: Ingesting this product will cause creeping ulcers, paralysis, and finally DEATH!”

dipped oreos & halloween topper {printable}

October 4, 2013

I have a fun and simple *free* cupcake topper printable to share with you all today…perfect for a Halloween Soiree.  Or little tags for your special food gift like these.

Yes.  Oreos.  Dipped in chocolate.  Because why?  Because I had to gift the Oreos before I ate them myself.  That’s why, if I need to be completely honest.

Click on the “topper print” link below for the download.  Use a 2 inch circle punch to get the white border.  Trick out however you see fit!
